SOGO BRIDGE SUPPORTS

New application of SOGO anti-vibration products:

In collaboration with Salcef Group, a global leader in the railway infrastructure sector, SOGO products were applied as bridge supports for an existing application where there was a need to reduce vibrations, preserve the concrete structure and isolate it electrically.

With the support of Salcef Group’s engineering, the SOGO technical department has developed a new compound and a new product weighing over 40 kg per item, in order to achieve the performance required by the customer.

In the photos you can see some of the stages of processing and fitting the SOGO products in the town of Pineto (Te), in Abruzzo.

Before their application, the Salcef group has managed, in total security, to raise the bridge a few centimeters in order to be able to install the SOGO products.
